BREONICS, Inc. is aggressively seeking U.S. and foreign patent protection for its products and technologies. The Company's patent portfolio includes four allowed U.S. patents with accompanying foreign applications pertaining to the EMS technology and a fifth allowed patent that pertains to the Organ Specific Immunosuppression technology. Continuation-in-Place (CIP) and five new applications have been filed during the year 2000 relating to the EMS equipment, diagnostic and process. New applications are being developed for each medical application of the EMS technology as the efficacy and technology is developed.
