Ernest
M. Green,
President
and C.E.O
Mr. Green joined
BREONICS in 1997. From 1989 to 1997 he served as a Vice President
and Director of Facilities and Regulatory Compliance for Alliance
Pharmaceutical Corp. (ALLP) and from 1983 to 1989 was Vice President
of Business Development and a Founder and Director of Otisville
Biotech, Inc. (OBTI). At OBTI Mr. Green was instrumental in attaining
a successful IPO for the company in 1984.
Lauren
Brasile,
Founder,
Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer.
Ms. Brasile is the
inventor of the patents that cover BREONICS' EMS and Immunosuppression
technologies. She has over 20 years experience in transplantation
immunology and organ preservation, she has published over 70 manuscripts
in medical journals and 3 chapters in textbooks. She was the founder
and President of VEC TEC Inc. where she directed the commercialization
of a line of research products derived from her inventions that
are now being marketed by that company. She served as Director of
Research Laboratories for the Department of Surgery at Albany Medical
Center and prior to that supervised the Transplant Research Labs
at Ohio State University.
Frank
J. Fitzpatrick
Vice
President and C.F.O.
From 1989 to 1997
he served as Director of Financial Operations/Controller of Alliance
Pharmaceutical Corp., Otisville, New York. Prior to Alliance Mr.
Fitzpatrick served as Controller for Cubic Precision/Automatic Toll
Systems, Teterboro, New Jersey a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cubic
Corporation. Mr. Fitzpatrick began his career with Price Waterhouse
in New York City in 1982. He is a graduate of Pace University, Pleasantville,
New York and a Certified Public Accountant.
Bart
M. Stubenitsky,
M.D.,
PhD., Vice President Medical Affairs
Dr. Stubenitsky joined
BREONICS in 1998 as a Medical Consultant. He was a recipient of
the Dutch Kidney Foundation Award in support of his research at
the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands for his studies
in Warm Organ Preservation.
Dr.
Thomas Galouzis,
Director
of Clinical Research.
Dr. Galouzis is a
graduate of the University of Chicago School of Medicine with specialties
in transplantation and general surgery. His work includes involvement
with groundbreaking research that demonstrated the immunogenecity
of the transplanted vasculature. Dr. Galouzis is also considered
an expert in the field of laproscopic surgery and has been greatly
involved in the development of new equipment and applications for
the surgical technique.
